John is best described as a wonderful and supportive father and grandfather, and a loving husband.
His love first and foremost was his family. His greatest love and pride was his wife, 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He loved his family and his family history and always made sure that we knew where we came from.

He was a huge presence both in our family, his friends and that of his extended rugby family who all loved him dearly.

He will be missed every day, if not just for his love and unwavering support for us all, but also for his stories.

You will always be with us and we love you so much.
