Peter Jones In memory of a Beautiful Person

Peter Jones was the son of the late Raymond and Ethel Jones (nee Greensill) he was born 27th March 1953 and passed away on the 20th November 2023. He was a dearly loved brother, uncle and great uncle. A bright and extremely intelligent man a strong mathematician. He was a quiet and an independent person, he loved nature and as a young boy and into adulthood loved the outdoors and had an incredible knowledge of the natural world. He attended Sheffield Polytechnic and studied HND level Computer Studies in the following subjects: Business Organisation, Accountancy& Finance, Data Processing Applications, Mathematics and Statistics, Operational Research, and Analogue Computer Programming. He became interested in world affairs. Peter had a successful career as a Computer Programmer and worked in Swindon, Oxford and Bridgwater. His career was cut short in his early thirties due to a terrible disease. He returned home to his mother and lived in Killamarsh. He battled the disease for 20 some years and conquered it.

He was recognised for his insight and knowledge of the disease.

He would want us to mention his beloved pet a little dog he named Lil.
